Morgan played a female character as a woman in the AIDS prevention and education video Safe Sex for Men and Women. Proceeds from the video was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is also on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Group. Morgan has also led many other fundraising projects in the fight against AIDS and has testified before a specially-created Congressional Committee about AIDS Education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon general of Canada, has asked that she replace him in a few occasions at AIDS associated events. Additionally she hosted the AIDS Awareness Special together with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to be on two occasions on Nightline regarding AIDS. Morgan has been nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan. Morgan co-starred in ABC TV's Your Money or Your Wife in the spring alongside Joan Rivers. The summer began by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner and included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. After that, she was sent to Luxembourg for Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan also starred in the psychological thriller made exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the biggest ratings in the history of the network.
